Fancy a day full of nature, but without it feeling like “having to”? Bohemian Switzerland is one of those places where you'll naturally slow down. Think of narrow paths through green gorges, tall cliffs around you and, as a highlight, the famous Pravčická brána rock bridge near Hřensko.

From our campsite, you can drive there in about 1 hour. You walk through a beautiful rocky landscape and can combine this with a boat trip through rocks and gorges. An absolute must if you like walking with variety and viewpoints that will take you to rest for a while.

Practical to know:

Parking is often paid in this area.
For the rock bridge, you pay approximately €3 p.p. entrance.
Wear good shoes: some parts are a bit steeper and uneven.

About Bohemian Switzerland

Bohemian Switzerland (Narodní park České Švýcarsko) is surprisingly close to the campsite and yet feels like a completely different world. Here you'll find impressive sandstone rock formations, deep gorges, and viewpoints that are perfect for a moment of rest (or a nice family photo).

What we love about it: it's an outing that you can do at your own pace. With children, you run shorter and you mainly grab the highlights. Are you coming as a couple or with older children? Then you can easily make a longer walking route out of it. And then: back to the campsite, where peace is already waiting for you.

You usually don't need to reserve anything in advance for this outing. Do take into account crowds and parking, especially during vacation periods. Sometimes parts such as boat trips work with limited spots or times.
