The area around Camping De Regenboog is ideal for cycling. From the campsite, you can drive various routes through the hilly landscape around Šluknov. The routes are suitable for electric bikes, gravel bikes and road bikes.
Various cycling routes in the area are available via the Komoot app. These routes provide a good picture of distance, height difference and surface.
Biking in the region
The cycling routes in the area have a slight to moderate height difference. On average, the height difference is around 100 meters per 10 kilometers. On some routes, this can reach a maximum of 150 meters, usually a little further from the campsite.
The combination of quiet roads, nature and well-organized routes makes the area suitable for sporty and relaxing bike rides.

Is there a lot of cycling in the area?
Yes, especially seniors and couples like to cycle here, often with an e-bike because of the hilly landscape. Families do this a little less often, unless they have electrical assistance. Can I rent an (electric) bike in the area?
Yes, there are several options for renting an e-bike in the area. Guests have great experiences with Rent Your E-Bike in Vysoká Lípa. Rental points can also be found in Krásná Lípa, Rumburk and Děčín. Please note that in the high season, it is wise to make a reservation in time.
What traffic rules apply to cyclists in the Czech Republic?
In the Czech Republic, cyclists must ride one after the other and a 0% alcohol policy applies, including by bike. Children under 18 are required to wear a bicycle helmet. It is good to take this into account in advance when cycling in the region.
